Indirect Assessment is an active research area. Indirect assessment is the process of performing an assessment without the use of the Wechsler. There are two kinds of indirect assessment:

  • Social Assessment: Uses input from the subject, either oral or written such as social contact or a written survey.
  • Distant: Uses known information about the subject without access to the subject.

This page may contain results of current research in the future.

Note: The members area has extensive information on different approaches to indirect assessment. One form is available is the Indirect Assessment Inventory
